This policy explains the handling of personal information by My Simple System when you visit this website, request a guide, subscribe to emails, or make a purchase from us.
Information you provide
When you request a guide, we collect the email address you submit to deliver the guide and send the ongoing emails described beside the signup form. If you make a purchase from us, we may receive your name, email address, purchase details, amount, currency, and payment status from our payment provider. We do not receive your full card number. If you contact us, we will receive the information you include in your message.
How information is used
We use signup information to provide the requested guide, send helpful content and occasional recommendations, manage subscriptions, and respond to messages. We also use purchase information to confirm payments, maintain records, and stop promotional follow-ups for products you have already purchased. Recommendations may include affiliate links. We may also process information needed to protect the website and address technical problems.
Information handled for us
We use service providers for website hosting, form processing, email delivery, subscription management, payment processing, connecting these services, and handling messages sent to our contact address. Our email service provider receives your email address and a tag identifying the guide you requested. These providers process information to deliver their services. Technical information and tracking
We use an advertising pixel on our guide and thank-you pages to measure visits and successful guide requests and help show relevant ads. Our advertising provider may receive your IP address, browser and device details, page URL, cookie identifiers, and the type of guide requested. It may associate these events with information it already holds about you. We do not include your submitted email address, name, or message in these events. For visitors identified as being in the United States, advertising tracking is on by default unless you opt out. For other or unknown locations, it stays off until you choose Allow. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal by keeping this tracking off. The hosting setup may record technical request information such as IP addresses, requested pages, and browser details. Our emails use tracking images and tracked links to record opens and clicks. Our email service may also record technical information such as IP address, approximate location, and device or email-client details. We use this information to understand engagement and improve our emails. Open tracking can be affected by privacy features in your email app.
Google Analytics and error measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, traffic sources, accepted guide signups, guide-link clicks, and technical failures. Google may receive browser and device details, cookie identifiers, and a page address with query strings removed. We send fixed error categories and HTTP status codes, not submitted email addresses, message text, subscriber references, or raw error messages. Guide-link clicks do not establish that a file was saved or read. Availability checks may test whether a PDF link responds successfully. Analytics follows the same regional setting and Privacy Preferences choice described above, and stays off when Global Privacy Control is enabled. Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled for this Analytics property’s website tag. Declining tracking does not affect guide access.
Purchase measurement
Where permitted by applicable law and your privacy choices, we may share purchase details, including the amount, currency, and transaction identifier, with advertising partners to measure advertising performance and improve ad delivery. We may also share a hashed version of your email address or other contact information to help match a purchase to an account held by the advertising partner. Hashing transforms the information before it is sent; it does not make it anonymous. Payment card details are not shared for advertising purposes.
Your choices
Use the Privacy Preferences link in the footer to allow or decline analytics and advertising cookies, or change your choice later. Declining does not prevent you from getting a guide or contacting us. We store your choice in this browser until you change it or clear browser storage. Withdrawing permission stops future analytics and advertising events from this browser; it does not erase events already received by the advertising provider. To request an opt-out of sharing purchase information for advertising, contact us through our contact page. The browser Privacy Preferences control applies to website tracking in that browser. You can choose not to subscribe. You can stop future marketing emails using the unsubscribe link included in them. Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may also have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
Retention and security
Subscriber information remains in our email service until it is removed; unsubscribing stops marketing emails but does not automatically erase the subscriber record. We may retain subscription and suppression records to honor opt-outs, address disputes, or meet legal obligations. To request deletion or ask what information we hold, visit our contact page. We may need to verify your request before making changes. No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
